Santoshi Sharma Adventures was a life-changing experience that made her realise that working for the government is not the only way to serve the nation, and you have many options if you love the country.
One of the most difficult and terrifying experiences was the first lockdown time, when I was preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Exam in Indore. At that time, my mother had a major operation, so I took her with me to take care of her. However, when the lockdown was declared, we ran into a problem where we had nowhere to go while explaining to everyone about my mother's condition and running out of food rations. Even after taking the medicine, the mother's health was deteriorating. I knocked on as many doors as I could, but we could not get anyone's consent to return home.
After that, I made a video where I begged the government, and at that time, many students joined me. Some were being thrown out of the hostel, others were starving, and everyone joined me in sharing their woes. We all pleaded with the government, "Please take us home with you. I want to go home." Then I informed the government about all these issues through the media. After that, we got permission to go home with the other children. I learned a lot from COVID somewhere. I set a date when I will dedicate my time to helping those in need, and I am committed to doing so. I will provide my expertise and advance the cause. I am committed to serving the nation.
